The Adventour starts at the popular Mojo Market situated on the Main Road of Sea Point, Cape Town.
 Arriving at 08h00, the experience commences and kicks off with a brief briefing and orientation, held over a cappuccino and muffin. The trip departs promptly at 08h45.

• Hop on to your dedicated shuttle, relax and enjoy a scenic drive over the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range, via the Old Huguenot Pass.
• Partake in an incredible brunch, held by our hosts, Nuy On the Hill. During which overlooking the magnificent breath-taking views of the Hex River Mountain ranges.
• Onward, just beyond Robertson, be treated to a wine and food pairing, at the tranquil Van Loveren Family Wine Estate.

• Making your way now to the wide open spaces, the Dassishoek Farm House (Known as Basecamp) now welcomes you on arrival with snacks and drinks.
• Allows a brief moment for all hikers to familiarise themselves with their fully stocked and suitably equipped backpack.
• Enjoy a hearty South African Braai and dinner underneath a starlit sky, whilst the signature view of Arangieskop Peak overlooks you.

• Waking up at 06h30, as basecamp begins to surface to the smells of a farmhouse hiker’s breakfast, being prepared for you.
• Hike commences by 08h00, bags packed and ready to go, having you ascending for the most part of the day.
• Along the route there are two scheduled stops. The first is deep within one of the gorges alongside a tree-covered river. This stop is about 30 minutes in duration. The second stop, directly beneath and in view of the Arangieskop summit, surrounding a small basin rockpool. This stop is about 20 minutes in duration. Important to know that this hike and ascent is still far from over.

• Around 2 pm / 3 pm, the most majestic Mountain Hut subtly comes into view. Your now weary body soon to be treated to a well-deserved welcome snack, along with your choice of Champagne or Sherry.
• Spend the entire late afternoon to simply relax and take in this glorious landscape overlooking the Koo Valley. Refresh under a hot shower, take a nap, read a book and resist the temptation to the perfect social media post: “Now this is Hiking In Style!”

• Kick-off the evening with a cosy indoor/outdoor lit fire, whilst enjoying some banter, good conversation, days reflections, great food and campfire stories. Converse with your fellow like-minded hikers late into the night, until a time your now replenished body finds its nights rest.

• Waking up, you’re now a hiker, and oh are you feeling it! A mountain hut full of fellow hikers begin to rise as a micro-breakfast is prepared. The coffee tastes so much better at an altitude of 1696m, but the thought of the descent now begins to buzz.
• Just as you begin to anticipate the descent, you realise the infamous summit is still to be reached. Now almost a Kilimanjaro moment, you’re sky-high, elevated beyond the clouds, feeling well-accomplished, whilst overlooking the beautiful Robertson valley. A photo opportunity for sure, record this moment in the geocache box, its last high-fives before making your way down.

• Descending slowly through one of the most incredible sure-footed gorges, a beautiful shaded rock pool welcomes the first snack break (30 minutes in duration)
• A second, and even third, stop is usually taken on the long down-winding switchback descent, as two mountain buttresses are slowly traversed, leaving you with mixed feelings, as you take-stock and begin to realise your weary body now bids farewell to this most incredible life-changing adventure.

• An ice-cold beer or soft drink refreshment greets and refreshes you, as you take a moment to join in the celebratory cheers with your Hikeinstyle companions.
• A quick opportunity to freshen up, just before the shuttle service departs, taking you back to the local Robertson town for a final fast-food indulgence – hard-earned, fully savoured, and never tasted so good. Safe to say, these calories don’t count.

• Arriving back in Cape Town, at approximately 19h30, assuredly still toggling through and sharing your many photographs taken over the trip, a glorious landing for this ultimate Hikeinstyle Adventurer. Saying farewell to your team of fellow hero hikers, all whilst planning out your next Adventour.
